Make Some Noise!
When fans stand up, Big Tickets backs down.
Fan Freedom Project Turns One, Thanks For Your Support!
03/08/2012
Late last year, we asked you to take a survey to tell us a little bit about yourself and your ticket experiences. Many of you answered the call, and here’s what you had to say:
When we launched a year ago, we had no idea what to expect. Thanks to your help, it’s been an amazing year for the Fan Freedom Project. Here’s just a few of the notable things we accomplished with your help:
- We emerged as an influential grassroots organization representing the interests of more than 100,000 sports and music fans.
- We promoted the rights of fans like you in 88 news pieces, including in the New York Times, CNBC.com, MSNBC.com, the Los Angeles Times, Variety and Billboard.
- We testified on behalf of fans and your ticketing rights in five state legislatures and sent hundreds of fan letters to state legislators.
- In New York, we helped renew a law that guarantees fans the right to own and transfer our tickets.
Not bad for a brand-new organization going up against giant ticket companies like Ticketmaster and their partners.
Thanks for all you did to help protect the rights – and tickets – of fans. We promise to do even better in 2012.
