Warning. If you came of age in the late 80′s into the early 90′s you are about to feel really old. Did you realize Queensryche has been around for 30 years? I need a minute… OK, back from the ledge. Over that time Queensryche has developed an extremely loyal fan base and that was in evidence Tuesday night as the band took the stage at the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh. Lincoln is a smaller venue that affords the fan an intimate experience with their favorite bands. As such, if you are going to a show at the Lincoln you are probably not a casual fan. You likely know B sides, you know band members’ favorite colors, you know what they were called before they hit it big (Queensryche was first known as The Mob), and you are not a fan of restrictive ticketing policies.
Opportunities to see your favorite bands up close and personal come around infrequently. When they do you certainly don’t want to tickets to be restricted or hidden fees to surprise you. Queensryche fans fully understood this and signed up in droves to the Fan Freedom project. Lincoln Theater will become a frequent stop for the Raleigh Street Team so when your favorite band comes to town be sure to say hello and sign up.
